Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team at Edgemine. As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting team and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial statements. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and guiding the team towards achieving our financial objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a CPA license, over 8 years of relevant experience, and be familiar with Netsuite. Experience in the consumer goods or apparel and wholesale industry is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Directly manage and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial statements, reports, and analysis
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines
• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards
• Review and analyze financial data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and provide financial insights
• Conduct regular audits and internal controls to mitigate financial risks
• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, implementing necessary updates as required
• Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Requirements:
• CPA license is a must
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
• Proficiency in Netsuite
• Experience in the consumer goods or apparel and wholesale industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• English is required. Bilingual in English and Korean a plus
