1. Import Designer
are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Import Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design trends, garment production, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Conceptualization: Develop innovative designs that align with the brand’s vision and resonate with the target audience.
- Trend Forecasting: Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behaviors, and market competition to guide design decisions and inspire fresh ideas.
- Fabric and Material Selection: Collaborate with the team to source and select fabrics, trims, and other materials that elevate the design.
- Prototype Development: Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, ensuring that designs are translated accurately into physical garments.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to maintain high standards across all designs and production stages.
- Market Feedback Integration: Analyze customer feedback and sales data to refine designs and enhance future product offerings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to product launch.
- Manage multiple projects daily in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of design experience, preferably in an import or young contemporary market.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and production processes.
- Highly organized, motivated, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.
1. Assistant Designer
We’re looking for a creative and organized Assistant Designer to support our design team. This role requires attention to detail, a passion for fashion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and development of seasonal collections.
- Demonstrate a strong fashion sense and stay updated on trends.
- Prepare tech packs and inspiration boards and take photos of samples and organize assets
- Organize and manage samples, and swatches.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely sample delivery.
- Support the team with color palettes, print selection, and design updates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of garment construction and production processes.
- 1+ year of experience in the young contemporary market is a plus.
2. Tradeshow Sales Representative
We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Tradeshow Sales Representative to represent Buttermelon at trade shows across the U.S. This role is perfect for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel domestically to trade shows (Las Vegas, Atlanta, Dallas, etc.), including occasional weekends.
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships.
- Follow up with buyers and process show orders.
- Work closely with the team to manage show supplies and ensure a smooth setup.
- Stay updated on fashion trends to effectively promote our brand.
- Someone who can handle showroom sales when there are no trade shows.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in wholesale apparel.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Korean or Spanish is a plus).
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in managing spreadsheets and documents.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
